Clinical Background
Dr. Paulo Carvalho is a Doctor of Dental Surgery who graduated in 2010 from the University of Oporto, Portugal. He has completed advanced postgraduate training in Implant Dentistry, Advanced Oral Surgery with autologous bone grafts in Brazil (2012), and Mucogingival and Periodontal Surgery.
He maintains a private practice in Porto, where his daily clinical activity is primarily focused on implant dentistry, periodontology, and oral rehabilitation. He is widely recognized for his passion for integrating mucogingival therapy in support of prosthodontics, both on teeth and implants.
Clinical Residency & Educational Involvement
In 2015, Dr. Carvalho completed a Clinical Residency in Aesthetic Dental Rehabilitation at Foramen Dental Education, consolidating his expertise in interdisciplinary treatment planning and prosthetically driven implant solutions.
He is actively involved in postgraduate education, working as an instructor in private courses in Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation, and serving as the main coordinator of the Perio-Prostho Clinical Residency at Foramen Dental Education.
