Directed by PEDRO MOURA
€1500 month/ 8 month
COURSE
OBJECTIVES
It is a long-term program designed for dentists and stomatologists who wish to acquire and deepen their knowledge in oral surgery within the context of a clinical residency.
MATERIAL
No specific materials or instruments are required, except for your personal laptop. Everything will be provided by the Training Center for practical sessions. However, the use of a personal camera with a macro lens and twin or ring flash is considered an added value for maximizing the learning experience.

asked questions
Dr. Pedro Moura is the pedagogical director of the program. He plays an active role, delivering a large number of both theoretical and practical sessions.
He is supported by a team of experienced colleagues, highly qualified as clinicians and educators. All clinicians involved in the training are, without exception, former students of Foramen Dental Education.
Occasionally, we also welcome external lecturers who contribute to specific theoretical modules.
The program has a duration of 8 months.
Because this is a long-term residency, it is not possible to pre-schedule the procedures that will be available, as is typically done in a weekend course or even in a modular program.
The essence of this Master is being present in a real clinical environment, with all the unpredictability that comes with it regarding the number and type of clinical cases.
In recent editions, participants performed numerous full-arch cases as well as single-tooth implant procedures. Mucogingival surgery around implants is always included. Reconstructive procedures such as sinus lifts, GBR, etc., occur less frequently. If you wish, we can provide you with the contact of several former students who can share their experience directly with you.
The residency has a cost of €1,500 per month.
We are exempt from VAT.
On Tuesday afternoons there is a theoretical class. Each practical group is then assigned one of the remaining weekdays. For example, a participant may belong to a Friday practical group but attend the theoretical class together with all other colleagues on Tuesdays.
There are only 4 available seats.
The goal is to maintain a limited and highly selective group of participants, ensuring a substantial volume of clinical cases for each pair and allowing the instructor to dedicate full attention to every student.
Candidate selection is based on an interview, your CV, and a theoretical exam. These exams allow us to assess your current level. The theoretical exam consists of a set of multiple-choice questions, and the score is an important factor in the admission decision.
To prepare, we provide a set of articles one week before the exam date. All answers to the questions can be found within those articles, and no additional study is required.
We ask you to submit an application form. After sending your application, we would like to meet you. We will show you our facilities, equipment, and how the current residency operates. We will answer any questions you may have. We will listen to your expectations, and you will hear ours.
There are a few premises that must be clear before applying.
Residents are expected to demonstrate full commitment and respect for all house rules, including the clinic’s operational guidelines and the overall well-being of patients.
Even though participants are paying for the program, this does not exempt them from responsibility nor allow them to disregard the commitment and objectives of the residency. Therefore, repeated lateness or unjustified absences will not be tolerated, and a minimum attendance rate is required.
It is essential to know how to work as part of a team and to avoid occupying the space or time dedicated to fellow residents.
The residency requires availability to plan clinical cases and communicate with laboratories outside residency hours, when necessary.
The use of magnification loupes and a camera is not mandatory but is strongly recommended.
